Hey! 

My name is Shana; I am a potter/artist based in New York City.

I fell in love with ceramics when I was a teenager and have been creating ever since. There is something about the materials and process that I really connect with. 

Recently, I have taken the huge (and terrifying) step of pursuing pottery full time. My studio is located 30 minutes outside of Manhattan and I collaborate a lot with one of my best friends (my mom!).

My main focus is sculptural ceramics and functional pottery, but I really don’t limit myself with styles. I have a passion for all art mediums. When I’m not covered in clay I love to draw, paint, and collage!
